Worum es geht

Napped leather cannot be wiped; it has to be abraded gently. The crepe rubber block lifts dry soiling and shiny pressure marks by friction alone, and the brass bristles raise the nap back up afterwards. Between them these two do most of the routine work on suede and nubuck without any product at all.

Anwendung Schritt für Schritt

1Always work on dry leather. Both tools smear on a damp nap.
2Rub the eraser over shiny or soiled patches with light pressure.
3Brush the nap in one direction to lift it back up.
4Finish by brushing the whole panel the same way so the light falls evenly.
5Trim off the crumbled surface of the eraser as it wears.

Was es nicht leistet

Handles dry soiling and pressure shine. Oil marks and water rings need a dedicated cleaner. Heavy pressure with the brass bristles will thin the nap permanently.
