Worum es geht

The reason for owning two brushes is not size, it is separation: one for working cream in, one for buffing off. A single brush used for both carries pigment from the first job into the second and eventually onto a lighter item. The small head also reaches into welts and seams that the large brush rides over.

Anwendung Schritt für Schritt

1. 1Assign one brush to cream application and one to buffing. Mark them.
2. 2Use the small brush for welts, seams and the area around eyelets.
3. 3Keep separate pairs for dark and light items.
4. 4Clean by combing, not by washing — water swells the wooden backs.

Was es nicht leistet

Buffing and application tools. Neither is stiff enough to work on a napped surface.
